Mediland promotes Ian’s Health Lounge in China International Import Export in Shanghai
22/11/2019The Directors of Mediland Pharm Limited (ASX: MPH) (“Mediland” or the “Company”) are delighted to announce that Mediland is the major jersey sponsor for Sydney FC’s friendly against leading French football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), which will take place on July 30 in Suzhou, near Shanghai. PSG are home to football megastars Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, and the match is expected to attract a television audience of over 400 million households.
The sky-blue jersey carries the logo for Ian’s Health Lounge, and its name in Chinese, above the words “a subsidiary of Mediland”. Mediland recently announced the completion of the first stage of the acquisition of Ian’s Health Lounge, and its on-line e-commerce platform.
This will be a fantastic opportunity for Mediland to promote its subsidiary business in China where Sydney FC will take on such a world class opposition. Proudly showcasing the company’s logo on their jersey, A-League Champions, Sydney FC will face the might of Paris Saint-Germain in China on Tuesday 30th July, 10pm kick off (AEST).
As our management and Board progresses to complete the three staged acquisition, the company is excited to be part of this sponsorship as our online business promotes health and well-being products made and sourced from Australia. For our very own Sydney FC to wear us on their traditional kit for this match shows our commitment to health and well-being.
Managing Director, Yesh Mudaliar, said “securing the Sydney FC jersey chest plate for a one off advertisement occasion is quite a scoop! The Paris Saint-Germain Vs Sydney FC game will be played in Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre, China, and streamed around the world. What a fantastic opportunity to promote our new venture with Ian’s Health Lounge, a new acquisition to the Mediland portfolio, to the greater Chinese community”.
The Chairman of Sydney FC, Mr Scott Barlow, said, “Sydney FC is delighted that Mediland has sponsored our jersey. It is the first time this jersey design has been worn by our players, and Mediland, being a Sydney-based company serving the needs of Chinese tourists is a very good fit for our match against PSG as it is taking place in China.”
The Chairman of Mediland Pharm, Dr Peter French said, “This sponsorship is a great way to promote the Mediland name in China, where our customers are based. These two high profile clubs, Sydney FC and Paris St Germain, will attract a very big viewing audience in China, and we anticipate that the exposure from the jersey sponsorship will be a great springboard for our expansion on the back of the Ian’s Health Lounge acquisition. We would like to wish Sydney FC all the best for the game.”
